The most realistic gun shot sounds aren't always the best. Remember it doesn't sound the same at the firing range...

Yes, that is true, I'm told. The real thing sounds rather unpleasant...thin and shrill.

They wear "ears" for a reason.

And over here people dont get that they standing in a real firefight.

2:10 shows the people standing in not the best position, not counting all the people filming with their cell phones.

Guns sound very different if you are in a open range or if you are into close quarters. If you look at the video above you get the special echo when firing in a more closed space.

Oh yea, Trust me I know how it sounds in closed quarters lol. Also had a 249 fired about a few inches away from my ears in a hallway before lol.

Watched the video and was horrified by the cluelessness of the lookyloos casually standing in the street while a gun battle was raging. The actions of the cops in putting down the bad guys did convince me, though, that it's not smart to f*ck with Dick Tracy.smile.gif

The rifle fired upon those soldiers in The Dark Knight Rises.

Thats the scene where one of Bane's men is sitting up on a balcony or something, and is shooting soldiers from behind.

The sound of the rifle sounded so crisp and solid.

This is the scene. Skip to 1:20

As for the most Bassy gun sound. It has to be when Joker fires a shotgun upon the police van. I don't know how low the bass is on that, but its well below 15hz cause my room was flapping.
