Hello,

I am purchasing a video card for my AMD phenom quad core HTPC. I would like to have play the standard MKV at 1080p and HD audio which isn't much of a problem with today's cards. I was thinking of spending a bit more to get a card that can do some light gaming. (very light) I have a few picked in my price range so let me know what you think is the best card or if you have something similar in the same price range. I plan on running XBMC most of the time.

GEForce GT610

GeForce GTS 430

HD 6670

HD 6450

Let me know what you think as I will be purchasing this weekend.

THanks, Tony

I have the 6750 Its way too much for even light gaming. Its noisy as hell. That quad-core has enough grunt to get the job done on those 1080p MKv. Also, I have an MAD 550 black dual core 3.2GH chip with HD4200 and it did MKV just fine. Quite and cool, poor for gaming.

Go with either GT610 is you have great cooling (being passive, it needs to be in a cooler case) or the 6450.
