I've wanted a projector in the my living room for a long time and I finally convinced my wife to let me get one, but her only condition is that the screen couldn’t be up the whole time. I just finished building this entertainment center this weekend. It houses a 100' EliteScreens EZ Cinema Plus. The last board on the top folds open and the screen is pulled up. I still need to fix the wall where the old LCD TV was and figure something else out with my speakers, but once that’s done and she picks out some wall art I think it will look pretty slick. The projector is an HD66 and the flash is what made the screen look so washed out.

Pros:“Excellent value for the price - Paid $79.95 at Frys.”“Absolutely stunning 24p play back. Networked Apps are flawless (wired). Very customizable. Unbelievable DLNA capability. Ability to skip the unskippables in a DVD. Overall professional onscreen GUI. Audio Quality is surprisingly very good. Upscaling as a customizable, menu driven item. Very Apple-esque.”
