I want to buy this tv online but it is no where to be found on Best Buy's website.

If I google the model # however a dummy link come up for it under BB:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/LG---60%26%2334%3B-Class---LED---1080p---240Hz---Smart---3D---HDTV/6734339.p?id=1218786218461&skuId=6734339

I looked on BB business and didnt see it there either.

Do I need to go in store and buy it? If so will they ship it to my house for free?

I can not find this tv anywhere on Best Buy's website:

Ive found the dummy link for it but no working links.

How have people been getting this tv and has BB been shipping for in home delivery for free if bought in store?

I saw it online and just went to BB to buy it. There was only one in stock so I jumped. I haven't seen any tv's with these kinds of specs anywhere so the decision wasn't too hard.

Hey Guys,

I bought mine off of BB in the store. Many stores have them in the back and they took it down from their website. They said that this is a new product and they want to launch it post-black friday (thats one of the employees said).

Basically they should be on the shelves in 2 weeks, but many stores have them in the back on sale for 1699.99 (100 dollars off). Also the BB staffer told me that usually they put stuff like this out for a few days and then they see how big the response is, and based off of that they set the prices.

Just call a store or walk in and see if they have it in the back. I had to call 2 stores, but found it quite easily. I ordered over the phone to make sure I get it.

Hope that helps!

Mine just got delivered today after ordering it in the store. They had it mounted too otherwise I would have just waited to buy. I should get some time this weekend to mess with it.

anyone know what type of wall mount to use? does any work? any reccs?
Well, I broke down and bought it from one of the two local BBs that not only had them in store but also on display. Opted for their free home delivery (any TV over 46") but not the setup and install. It'll be in my hands on Wed. but it may be another few days before I can set it up, so I opted to save the extra $$$ and do it myself.

BTW, HH Gregg had them in stock too, the boxes on the floor (but not on display) for $30 cheaper than BB but only until Sat. (17th). But the salesmen seemed to feel they wouldn't be pushing them hard until after Black Friday... at a "regular price" of $1999! Just FYI...

Thanks for posting the photos Obi Wan. Yes, your TV does have flashlighting but you mostly wouldn't notice it unless watching Dark Knight or any movie with lot of dark scenes. Sorry, I fell sick and wasn't online. Now that I am not getting sleep I'll post one shortly.

I had focusing issue on a near black screen in a complete dark room so took one with bright white text as well.

It's hard to compare with yours since the camera exposure and available light might not be the same. The flashlighting and a bit of clouding easily visible on my TV in dark scenes at night.

I did some research and found the Monoprice 3900 to be my best option.

Should be here by Wednesday, once again, I'll post pics when it's up.
Cheers

I ended up swapping out for a third 60 LM7200 last night. This one is as close as I think I'm going to get to perfect. No line, no major bleeding spots. The usual lightness in the corners, but that's just the way it's going to be with this display technology. Only issue with this one is the "G" in LG on the front is about 1/3 scraped off. Not sure how that happened; could have happened in shipping I guess. I can live with it. wink.gif

Anyway, I'm a happy camper and recommend this TV to anyone, especially at this price. There is basically no other TV with these features at this price.

Hi Guys,
I just got mine and I love this TV, but as it claims when and were does the Trumotion (240hz) come to use. I tried to watch a blu-ray movie with Trumotion and Real Cinema on and it actually distorted/blur the movie during fast scenes. Anyone else notice this? If yes, what the hell is the benefit/use of Trumotion setting and when exactly should one use them. Except this one issue, I really love this TV for normal viewing.

Do we know if this a IPS panel or not? Also can someone with the set verify the latest firmware version..
I'm looking at this and the Samsung 7100 tonight since with the current deals they can be had for about the same price with the Samsung being a couple of hundred more. Anyone compare these two TV's side by side yet? If so what are your thoughts on the performance of both. I've generally been leaning toward upgrading my 5+ year old Pioneer Plasma with a Samsung LED for the last couple of years but haven't pulled the trigger. This is definitely the year and now when I thought I had my mind made up I find this LG TV...

I'm debating between this set and the 65" Vizio at SAMs club this Black Friday. Can anyone tell me how good this tv performs? Pros v Cons. I have to say coming from a Samsung d7000 last year and comparing the 3d to the store model LG led it was night and day. The LG just looked cheesy. Any videos on this set? Can one of you please make one bragging on the possibilities. Thanks in advance!!! Look forward to maybe joining this tread for some time to come. I broke my Sammy. frown.gif

I was originally looking at the 65" Vizio at Sam's Club too, but I was seeing too many reviews of how much glare it had so I decided against it. Now I can't decide between this one and the Sharp LE845U which is on sale right now for the same price as this one ($1699).

When looking at the specs, the only difference I noticed between this one and the LM7600 (which has great reviews) was the contrast ratio. This one has 7,000,000:1 compared to 9,000,000:1 for the LM7600. Thinking I may just pull the trigger on this one even though it's new and there hasn't been much for reviews yet.

AQuick 2hr. Review:
#1 3-D is Awesome for a passive set!! Crystal clear picture with depth spot on.
#2 Controller is cool yet somewhat annoying because everytime you touch it or it moves the cursor shows on screen.
#3 I keep noticing in the right corner of my screen it states 60hz. I thought it was 240?
#4 no lag on gameplay(Wii U black ops 2)
#5 it is a tv that I can see myself sticking with. Picture quality not quite as up to par with the 7 series samsungs but close enough.
#6 I can recommend this.
Any questions feel free to ask.
Also the tv stereo speakers are LOUD there are two boxes for the speakers behind the tv and to the bottom.

Mine looks about the same with respect to flashlighting. Are you keeping yours or returning it?
Worst thing about this set is the glare. When you see your room lights through the screen it makes a Christmas light effect. Horrible. Even my wife was complaining.
it seems pretty great and the 7600 has amazing reviews!a116.jpg

Picked this TV up last night at BB. Still not sure if its staying or not. My biggest issue with this set is the glare. Even when its dark I can see my reflection clearly. I wasn't blown away by the 3d like I was hoping. Might end up going back and getting a Panny UT50 plasma for $500 less. Ill get some pics of the set up later showing glare and flash lighting. Although overall I think I got a good one of these sets with regards to light bleed.

7600 all the way!
I went a directly compared this to the 7100 Samsung and while the 7200 is a very good picture I couldn't stop going back to the Sammy. Looks like that's the direction I'm going. When you add the fact that the room this TV will be in is super bright and all the comments about the screen glare really pushed me away from it. It is definitely a super nice set for the $$$ though and if the price on the Sammy wasn't so close I definitely would have gone this way because it looked better by far than both the Sony and the Sharp in the same class.
My only complaint with this TV is panel uniformity. My first one had extreme light bleed in the two lower corners. Second had overall clouding and some weird horizontal ghost lines on the left side. Third one is the best overall, but has a vertical ghost line that runs top to bottom, just to the right of center. It's only noticeable during panning, like watching football and basketball. Unfortunately, those are the two things I watch the most.

I'm going to see what's available for Black Friday before I decide to keep this model or shell out more $$$ and go with a comparable Samsung.
I don't have any problems like those on my set. Only glare but not a deal breaker at all.
Does anyone know how to turn on 240hz? If there is even a such thing... Mine says 60hz on the top of the screen when the title bar appears.
