Official LG XXLM7200 Thread - Page 25

Do the pixels go all the way to the bezel, or is there a black border around the image on the LG 60LM7200?

I have a 55LM8600 whose pixels stop 1/2" from the bezel, and a 55LM9600 whose pixels go right to the bezel.  I am making an array of these monitors, and need to minimize the black in between the images.

Thanks for any information or images you can offer.

They go to the edge of the bezel.

So it seems that ever since the Jan 7th 2014 firmware update my TV keeps flashing brighter and darker. Backlight problem maybe? I tried messing with backlight settings and local dimming and that doesn't help at all. Am I alone here?

I haven't had any issues.

Well, I turned the power off and unplugged the TV for a minute and the problem seems to have gone away for the time being. It had been intermittent since the update, so it my return. Hopefully, though, it will stay gone.

What was in the update..what version are you using?
06.01.03 is the version I am using. I just downloaded it this week and that's when the problem started. Since I unplugged it though, I haven't seen the issue return. I have no idea what the update was for. I tried adjusting a bunch of different settings to fix it at first. Just unplugging it should have been the first thin I tried. I do not have any power saving settings on or the ambient light sensor on so it seemed really strange that it kept dimming and getting brighter. It wasn't a gradual dimming either. It was quite jarring an obnoxious. So far so good though. We have a movie night tonight, so if the problem returns I will update.
