Ok so i have been trying to figure this out for a while and cannot find any solutions.
Cut a long story short, i have a computer with windows 7 attached to my TV with no hdd's as its a mini machine... I have a desktop with only two SSD's so it has no HDD's in there... All my media is on a QNAP 412 so using the ARM cpu... and i have a HP Microserver with an AMD dual core with no o/s but probably looking for linux to run on it as its free and once the qnap is full than it will start having extra hdd's added for more space
Now my dilemma is i want to have the microserver act as a backend (well i think that is what i want it to be) where it will have a program which can grab all the information for what i have available on my qnap and allow client based apps on all other machines to run of this...
Is this even possible??
If so what do you reckon would be the best software to use in this situation....
