Alright guys the wife OK'd the build but only due to the fact that she also needs a new computer for Photoshop since she is in desperate need of an upgrade. So of course I am going to combine the build for a HTPC and Photoshop. There will be little video editing, a lot of surfing the web, and no gaming. This is my 1st build ever, so any input is greatly appreciated.
Living Room Set Up
I have an Onkyo receiver hooked up to a 58" Panasonic Plasma. So running HDMI is not an issue, but the wife would like a mid tower at a workspace close to the living room. We currently watch ALOT of movies and TV Series, mostly MKV's thru my Xbox...but since the Xbox hates MKV's, I have to convert them to MP4's and throw them on an external to watch them and its getting old.
