panasonic 60"st50 gaming question

I had read on here that the 60" + is not good for gaming because of the input lag. is this true? or have they resolved the issue because if not i will be getting the 60 ut50 during black friday.

Your title has one model and your question the one below. Incidentally, I am trying to figure out if the ST50 really is less input lag than the UT50, as much of my research claims. That's the $300 question.

I have heard that hdmi and bigger screen sizes can cause more lag. This is another reason why MLG peeps use monitors.
