I'm loving the SCAR with FMJ these days. Little recoil. Crazy stopping power, and you can get LONG range kills. I'm a bad sniper.

The FAL is the most accurate non sniper in the game. When zoomed in every bullet hits where its supposed to.

They did decrease the accuracy on fully auto mode. I used to use it but switched to semi auto because I can fire just as fast without...and honestly its about timing out your trigger squeezes to make sure you get hits more than fire rate.

All in all the SMR has a bit less accuracy but increased power....after the attachments its accuracy is on par with the FAL. The SMR will routinely down ppl with 2-3 flush shots to the chest whereas with the FAL its 3-4.

FMJ doesn't actually increase damage to other people. Only increases damage to killstreaks and lets you shoot through walls easier.

Problem with LMG is the time it takes to ADS and the accuracy.

True. I haven't used one in forever...but started out of boredom a few days ago. Definitely take an extra second to ADS, but if you can anticipate it mows people like crazy...

Whenever I see someone using an LMG its with the - target finder + silencer. Or target finder with some other attachment

I normally use primary gunfighter so I could put three attachments on it.
I picked up a hamr with edtech and silencer the other day it was working well.

Im pretty strict run/gun but refuse to use an SMG and the extra ADS kills it for me on the LMG.

Don't worry about bettys, just crouch. I really like engineer for the shock spikes.

One of my new favourite kills is to put down a claymore, then lie behind it. Someone hacks it (I have engineer on), they walk through the door, and I shoot the claymore. Good times.

Yea i usually equip stock attachment when running with LMGs. That way I can move around the board with my sight raised most of the time and not have to deal with the delayed ADS times.

Has anyone here used the B23R handgun? I used it for the first time time last night and this thing is a beast. Its a 3 round burst and puts ppl down in 2 trigger pulls. Pretty decent range also. It's pretty much on par with many primary guns when it comes to up close battles.

I use the last one. The full auto. Works as well as the MP7. Keep it as a back up on the shotgun class. You know, for those spray and pray moments. I had long barrel on it, but needed something else.

As seen in the video below the FAL actually is a higher damage weapon and has a higher fire rate. The SMR range is much better though. The FAL deals 55 damage for a 2 hit kill up to 16 m then drops to 49 damage which is a 3 hit kill out to 58+ m. All these are body shots. While the SMR only ever deals 50 damage but the range is ridiculous. It is a 2 shot kill up to 38.5m! then after that it is is a 3 shot kill. The video below shows it pretty well. This is prepatch though so the FAL was affected some.

Is this a glitch/bug?

Once I prestige I can choose to unlock an extra create a class slot. And then when I get to level 4, still have a token to permanatly unlock an item.

Nope not a glitch or bug. You now get both each prestige.

Prestiged last night and started over. Was rocking the Type 25 and having some good success. It is amazing that I would go 25-12, 22-8 and the lobby would change and then just get owned. I recognize some of the players in the new lobby were much better, but I could also tell the difference in how the Type 25 was reacting when aiming down sites. The first lobby, I was locking on target and raping and the second lobby it felt like I couldn't get my reticle on target. Weird. Still a ton of fun and I am enjoying ranking back up.

I can't wait or all the Christmas NOOBs to get the game. My K/D should sky rocket

I still cant get over how much the SWAT was nerfed. Also, the video (or was it in the XBox forum?) on the FAL said two shots at close range were a kill. I shot a guy in the head four times with a FAL as he was climbing up a ladder in front of me. He still managed to raise a shotgun and kill me with one shot after takin' four in the brainbasket. Nice nerf, Vonderhaar. I wish you nut cancer, you patching-ass pudendum. Feet-first into a woodchipper.

Hopped in a game with LoPingChicken last night and proceeded to get spanked. (Went 5-8) It was Hardpoint, and I don't think I've ever played that before. I had NO idea what I was doing. He kicked a$$ though, I think he was tops on the leaderboard.

I bailed on that lobby after the game, and played some TDM. I Pwned on Raid, going 22-6, then followed it up with a 24-9 on Drone. I was in a great lobby with a bunch of fish, and a great connection (what a great combo!). Good times. Mirin' that Chocolate Chip camo!

I love hardpoint. You really need to think about your perks and scorestreaks and tailor them to the game, however. It is essential to play on a team that communicates well (who's covering what, engineers call out things, someone is equipped to shoot down aerial stuff, etc). You must have guys willing to sacrifice K/D to win, and others that are good at kills from a distance. If you're with good buddies, it's easy to hold the other team to zero.

King of the Hill! Blast Shield is a requirement for sure...

Wow - I don't know if it's my connection or what, but I've just been on a roll lately. Was positive (over 1:1 KDR) in six straight matches last night, highlighted by a 22-6; and a 21-9 game. I Prestiged, and said good bye to my wonderful SMG run-n-gun setup. I'm likely going to roll with an Assault Rifle class for a while and sake things up.

I'm up to a 1.10 KDR now, which is complete rarified air for this 46 yr old.

But I was really comfortable with the SMG loadout I had. PS - Extended Mags was HUGE. It seems that helped me more than anything the last couple of days.

I got all excited about Double XP weekend, and then I remembered: I'm leaving for San Antonion for a few days on a business trip. bummer!

Went 55-12 followed by 38-6 last night playing domination with OoBigLoo. Class was MK 48 with grip/extended mag/dual band, hardline, toughness, engineer and 2 Black hats. I really dig, and have been using for forever, the back to back Hellfire and Lightning strike killstreaks.

Of course, then we started playing with shotguns and those numbers changed a lot. Way fun though...

Had a couple good rounds today after running pretty bad. 19-2, 25-5, and can't remember the last one but it was like 25-3 or so. Overall I am just a smidgen under 1.00 kdr so having some good games and rolling through killstreaks felt pretty good.

I am close to getting gold camo on my mp7 so I started the last bit of work to make that happen. Need to do 150 kills with no attachments and no perks. It's pretty awkward however to run around with no attachments / perks after really starting to rely on Engineer and stuff like that. The plus side to working on that achieve is all the extra nades and stuff I have to work with instead from the free spots.

I'm doing the same thing with the MK 48. Got through the no perks, and have 50 more with no attachments. I realized halfway through I should just do both those challenges (no attachments/no perks) at the same time.

It's pretty cool playing TDM with 2 lethals and 2 tacticals though.

I started playing with the LSAT after reading the post above. Its worth a shot. Use the heavy gunner class to test it out with Quick Draw, Target Finder and FMJ. I switched the FMJ to rapid fire and he quick draw to Silencer and its beasty. I'm thinking of getting diamond studded LMG's since theres only 4 to master.

As for the FAL vs SMR video. I will watch and post my reaction. I've done a bit of research on the two and find the SMR to be less accurate but more deadly at medium range...something the poster says otherwise to.

30-3 on FFA the other day. 22-1 on multi TDM both at the reactor map. My KD has gone from 1.08 to 1.35ish after I started playing FFA with LoPingChicken =)
