Which pretty much explains why my K/D has gone from 1.35 to 1.0.

...And my profanity quotient has gone from 6.0 to 42223.1.

Played with Krimson last night in multiteam. I think we won like 8 straight games. No mic but good teamwork mostly.

I try. I try. Every time I try to join a friend's game the server is full.

I started experimenting with Hardpoint. Weird. Weird chaos. Pretty much the diametric opposite of my FfA play, which centers around trying to craft a clever kill and make people curse me.

Hardpoint play also negated the whole point of my first-ever Prestige in order to reset my stats. That was pointless. I should have kept Claymores instead. My stats are an embarrassment again.

Leveling up an FAL popgun to full auto or a Sniper rifle to competently steady is also a drain on the numbers.

Yep good game the other night Conspiracy. You and your friend were really good and I was struggling a bit to keep up.

I dug out my headset and got it charged up for next time we play.

Started messing around with LMG after the talk here and watching Conspiracy play a bit. Definitely seeing the draw people have to these now. It feels really clunky after doing a bunch of run-n-gun but you can drop people so quick when you connect.

Started having some decent success with a shotgun / pistol build. Using the Remington w/ laser and long barrel, and then swap to a Five-Seven for mid->long distance fights. The pistols in this game are surprisingly effective. I have been getting lots of "long shot" bonuses with the Five Seven. There is barely any kick to it at all, and it doesn't 'sway" at all so you just get your shot lined up and then start spamming the bumper as fast as you can.

Been running ~2.0 with this build. ... That is however mostly in TDM and the game types that have less people running around aimlessly it might not be as effective.

Just a thought.. Is there any advantage/glitch, if you use 'color blind assist'? Like in mw3 you could see the enemy stealth bomber's direction with it on?

Gonna have to check that out.

Pretty good run the last couple of nights, I'm up to 1.11 KDR.

Ya know - I love BF3 (more than 230 hours!) and always will, but I have no problem admitting I really like this, too. They're two completely different entities, and they scratch different itches. Fun stuff.

I can't tell you how many FALs I've seen in the past two days that spray faster than MP7s.

I've got a fully automatic FAL. I know how fast a fully automatic FAL shoots.

Who cares; stats are useless. Try putting your KDR on your resume if you want proof.

I live in a lonely, vapid world where KD actually trumps berserker wins. Kinda like real life combat would be. Yaknow....Where your value as a soldier would be measured by your ability to take out an asymmetrical number of the enemy before you ate a bullet?

I care, too.

Not in a big way, I don't lose sleep over it or anything, but it's a simple measure of my effectiveness.

Both in BF3 and in BO2, the more I played, the better my KDR got.

Just cause you can't put it on your resume doesn't mean anything. I care if the Cowboys win on Sunday, and I can't put that on my resume either.

I care if my kid gets hit by a car, and I can't put that on my res... Oh - you get the idea! :-)

I never thought of putting my K/D on my resume. Im going to do that now for real. Thanks for the tip bro!

Had a night last night where I could do no wrong. I was feasting on FfA. I was King of the Known Universe.

Then I ran upstairs to pee and walked through the wife and kids CinemaNow streaming Pitch Perfect on the upstairs TV.

I stopped in my tracks.


"Aaaawwwww, dammit! I thought I was awesome." Turns out, I was getting lag-comped like a Vegas highroller.

I gotta try that! I'm gonna start an HBO-Go show on my PC, then go play BO2 and see how that affects things.

Assuming the rumor is true, it's the XBox release date. PS3 a month later. Dang it.

Been working on getting diamond LMG's. Through with the first two...half way done with the LSAT. Have never even picked up the HAMR, hopefully its not horrible like the second one.

On a side note...been playing the mess out of playstation allstars. If there a thread here I'm about to revive it.

I've being using LMG like the HAMR for a week,..its a great gun.
My problem was to get more kill without having to reload or switch to my secondary weapon.
I even did the overkill perk with 2 primery weapons and fast hand perk,..still a sec too slow.
The extended mag can make it up for it but it takes a spot on the attachments.

Thats is why I decided to switch to an LMG with 3 attachments.

LMG can get you to five kill before reloading. or more,...
So I've unlock the Dual Band for MK48 and HAMR,....It's heaven lol,..it's so good it feel like abusing. my K/D went up to 1.18
So an LMG with Dual Band, FMJ and Force Grip,...you can do lots of damage.

You guys getting the DLC pack when it arrives for ps3?

To me its a good thing xbox gets it first. As, the standard maps are sub-par to me. And I don't feel like wasting $15 or $50 (however much the season pass is) on even more average head-glitching maps. (Listen to feedback)

Oh, sure - I'm certainly going to pick them up. I can appreciate how new maps extend the life span of a product. I'm looking forward to them.

was worth it to me to get the season pass i played mw3 long enough to use all the map packs, plus zombies is much better this time around.

Yea, I played mw3 a long time too.. Just onlly liked 1-2 of the dlc maps

The first map pack was released a few days ago for xbox, ps3 will get it at the end of this month.
