I just searched the internet trying to find this calibration dvd and no except maybe in-store Walmart has it for sale. Going to JKP website there is no contact info active at this time. Does anyone know if they have stopped production, gone out of business or ??

Only a few copies left from the first pressing (at 2008) that's why it's rare now.

I still have inventory in my online store of 'Digital Video Essentials: HD Basics' on Blu-ray Disc, and one copy on HD DVD.

Joe Kane is on the road and out of the office all the way into January. The last time I talked to him, he was still considering a possible revision of 'DVE' with 3D content. When that might come into fruition cannot be determined at this time.

I just received authoritative confirmation that the long time distributor for Joe Kane Productions' software titles has closed their offices. It remains to be seen who may pick up distribution for JKP. If I learn more reliable information, I'll post it.

Here's the scoop straight from Joe Kane: 'DVE: HD Basics' is being remastered for re-release without region coding. A new distributor will be handling the title once it has been redone. Here is a link to the new company: http://www.sceniclabs.com/collections/coming-soon?constraint=hd-basics-blu-ray .

The Re-Released DVE: HD Basics (now Region Free) is again available and you can take advantage of a special with the new company.... only $9.95 plus shipping (~$2.50)...

At checkout, use the code "3year20" and you'll have $20 credit instantly
