Which RPG's do you enjoy most?

Hey everyone!

I finally am puttnig some effort into playing some games and found my copy of Blue Dragon that I busted out. Played 15mns into it and it is drawing me back into gaming. My plan is to play it through and hopefully spark some other interests into more RPG's, but I need some opinions or recommendations on other RPG's for the 360.

Which do you like most?

Thanks!

I loved Dragon's Dogma, Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur.

I rented Dishonored and thought that it was amazing. Great story. Good mechanics and lots of fun.

I'm a sucker for JRPGs, so FFXIII and FFXIII-2 would be my first recommendations, they're both great IMO despite a lot of criticism from FF fans. FXIII-3 will be released next year which I'm pretty sure will be the final episode in XIII.

Oblivion is an awesome WRPG, Skyrim is great as well.

I don't have an Xbox 360, but the game that I'd really love to play on that console is Lost Odyssey.

The best JRPG on Xbox 360 (and in my all time top 5 list ever) is Lost Odyssey. Created by same writers, and composer as Blue Dragon (as well the original Final Fantasy games) but with much a deeper storyline and gameplay.

Here is the first 10 minutes with some FMV and gameplay, just a taste of the game, no real spoilers this is essentially the intro:

+1 to Lost Odyssey, loved that game. Is Blue Dragon worth playing or is outdated now?

Friend of mine played a chunk of Lost Odyssey before his Xbox died and he loved it. Fallout series, Oblivion, and Skyrim are all pretty good offerings but tend to wear you out questing non stop. Mass Effect had a great story. I've got Witcher 2 sitting here for a rainy day, it looks really complex so I've shelved it for now. Kingdoms of Amalur has a Fable vibe and its waiting on a rainy day too. I've not followed Final Fantasy since 7, but have tried a few. Just not in the mood to play JRPGs anymore, they seem too scripted without as much character development. On PC I miss the old Wizardry series, that was a great set of games to play.

How could I forget Demon Souls and Dark Souls, though Dark Souls was better on the PS3. Their not your typical RPG though. This pair has to be one of my all time favorite games though. I have some very memorable moments out of both of them. When I hear a crow call it takes me right back to the first day I got Demon Souls and first stepped foot into the castle walkway and how can I ever forget being stuck cursed in a poison swamp that took a good 30 minutes to get out of in Dark Souls.

If you loved Lost Odyssey you will probably enjoy Blue Dragon also. The story is good but not as deep as Lost Odyssey but gameplay is fun. I guess the best I can describe it is a more of an old school feeling JRPG that feels like an anime in terms of art style. One thing I do want to add is that I felt like game worked better with Japanese dialog w/ subtitles (while Lost Odyssey English voice acting was amazing as the best way to play it my opinion).
