lg 6400 vs 6700

Differences are mainly cosmetic. According to LG's website the 6400 has "super resolution plus" while the 6700 doesn't (keep in mind mfg's websites aren't always accurate) and the 6700 has Skype capability while the 6400 doesn't. Most gurus recommend turning "super resolution" off, I don't see any difference with it on or off on my 6400.

There's a half-inch border under the glass/plastic sheet covering the whole front of the 6700, while the 6400 has a half-inch black bezel and no glass/plastic sheet. The 6400 is slightly less reflective.

That is incorrect. The 6400 has Skype compatibility as well. Unfortunately neither TV will allow the use of a standard webcam. You'll have to spring for the $100 LG accessory cam in order to get Skype to work.

I've heard they are basically the same set other than bezel color. The 6400 is sold at big box stores like Sams Club and Costco. The 6700 is sold at Bestbuy and Sears, etc.

I just bought the 55lm6400 from Sams Club for $1098. Just down the road Best buy was selling the 6700 for $1399 so I went with the 6400 an saved $300. I've only had the TV for a week now but I'm loving it.

^^^Thanks for the correction regarding Skype. I was just going by the spec comparison on LG's site without actually downloading manuals to check for the capability--my bad.

Ive had the 6400 from Sams for a little over a month now and I love it. Great picture and 3d is amazing.
