Does anyone recall back during CES 2012 in January LG had the BP720 Blu-ray player on display, but it has been MIA in terms of getting to consumers. Earlier this week on 11/12/12, the WI-FI Alliance certified a new LG model player. The LG BP730 to be exact. This will be the first LG player since the 2011 models BD670 and BD690 that has a true a/b/g /n dual band 2x2 wireless adapter built-in. Even LG’s to-of-the-line 2012 BP620 model only featured a b/g/n 1x1 single band wireless adapter inside.
I have yet to find any more information on this particular model and expect to not hear anything more on it till 2013 rolls around.
