These only have a 1 year warranty on them.

I guess Newegg had the best deal on the 3tb drives, tigerdirect's offering 3 yrs extended warranty for 17 dollars and amazon's just offering 1 yr + 2 yrs extended.

How do you get the price on amazon? All I see is $130.

89 on Amazon was yesterday.
Its 89 on tigerdirect right now, NCIX amost sold off. But limit just one, and 8 dollars shipping.. hence no deal for me.
Chances are that Newegg will bring back the 89 dollar deal with 5 yrs warranty with addl 7 dollars ext warranty on monday.

Sounds good. TD charges me tax too, so it's even worse.

I got all 3 of mine from Wednesday's deal already. All 3 shipped in small custom brown boxes with clam shells included. All 3 inside a fully packed and secured shipping box. Nothing to indicate/suggest poor shipping affecting the integrity of the drives. Shipped by Ontrac door to door in 18 hours.

I'll post later this week when they go into my new Synology NAS.

I don't need one, at least not until I get my Amazon and Newegg Gift cards at Christmas time. Building my Synology NAS this week with the 3 drives I bought yesterday. Hopefully prices stay the same through Christmas.

I hope everyone wanting in on this deal was able to capitalize. I think we all did a great job waiting patiently over the last 3 weeks. I'll try to keep up the in stock notifications through the weekend at the $89 price tag.
