Strategy help for Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Thread Starter
So I am currently in the Middle of my first HTPC build....first cpu build for that matter and I am trying to figure out what to expect in terms of big sales this holiday season to finish my build. I can see that I actually missed a few deals already such as an i5 from Mircocenter for $99 and a Samsung 830 SSD 128 for $69:mad:

Anyways here are the list of items that I need to complete the build you can go ahead and add the two aforementioned items as well.

HDDs (Sata Cords)
RAM DDR3
Centon Infinitv 4
Opical Drive (Blu Ray)
Windows 7

I could pass on the Centon and hold out till christmas but ultimately I was hoping that you diehard experts can share your knowledge of where and when I should look to purchase these items. Newegg, Tiger Direct etc. FYI I leave near a Microcenter.

I guess the type of advice that I am looking for would be to make sure that on 12AM Cyber Morning Monday, I'm on Newegg waiting to buy stuff because by 3am, things will be sold out.

Thanks

I think you are correct. I have been waiting around as well to make some purchases but none of the B&M stores are offering any deals for building a pc.

but Frys and Microcenter have yet to release an ad yet
