I had an stf2 and it is a bedroom sub imo. Accurate but little output. I am very confident in saying that the pb1000 would be just as accurate and would provide much more output.Originally Posted by FP22

I use only the mains for my music listening. My room is 15' x 12' x 8' connected to kitchen 12' x 8' x 8'. Considering a sub under around $500. I'm considering the SVS PB-1000 or HSU STF-2. Will the PB-1000 be a lot better than the STF-2? They are about the same size but STF-2 less expensive. Should I go for the new Rythmik LV12R, will this one be too large for the space? Thank you so much for your input
I hope it was proper for me to ask for advice in this thread. I apologize if that's not the case

Definitely didn't hear all the low end when with just the speakers. Mind you I just listen to music 80% of the time..but do watch movie once in a while. So I popped in Jurassic Park Blu-ray and I have to move the sub out AWAY from the wall.
