Amplifiers & Receivers for use with the JTR Speakers - Reviews - Amps, Monos, Separates, Pro/Pre - Page 3

I asked if Sunfire amplifiers are a good match for JTR Speakers and got a very positive response stating that they are an excellent match. I think they are one of the few amplifiers that can do JTR Speakers some justice (with their power).

had you level matched, you might have a "valid result"...

but you did not...

I actually don't have JTR Speakers but all I was stating was that Sunfire amplifiers go well with JTR Speakers based on user feedback.

EDIT: Wait, was this post even directed at me? tongue.gif

I originally had an Emotiva xpa-3. When Jeff dropped off my caps and s8's, he mentioned that people were having success with parasound. Since I needed to upgrade anyway, I picked up a used Parasound A52. I'm very happy with the decision.

One benefit of the Parasounds is they have gain controls so you don't need to buy attenuators like other people did to get Audyssey to work right. I'm not sure if the A52 has them but the A21 did and I think the A23's did too but I forget.

I am thinking of using the Behringer EP4000 (2 of them to power the LCR), does anyone know if the amps can support 230/240V power inputs?
