Hope all of you had a nice thanksgiving weekend...
I have started shopping for floorstanders now....and after doing demo of some floorstanders and many bookshelves...I am convinced I dont need to demo any more...just pick and choose anything that fits my budget..
My budget is 1500 for a good quality 2.0 / 3.1 speakers.
Here are my options 1 last time, request your opinion in helping me make a choice :
Polk RTiA7 - 1800
Monitor Audio RX6 - 1500
Polk RTiA5 - 1500
Infinity Primus -363 - 1400
Polk Tsi500 -1299
Polk Tsi400 -850
Wharfedale 10.6 - 1000 + center + sub = 1750
Wharfedale 10.4 - 800 + center + sub = 1550
Mission MX3 - 600 + center + sub = 1300
The wharefedale and missions have a further discount of 300 dollars on a SW150 wharefedale sub if buy the 3.1 package from him....so they are the cheapest when bought together...
I have not listened to the top 4 in the list above and don't intend to listen to more than in the list above...
Experts : what would you choose from the above? I dont have a problem with upgrading later...but that later maybe 1 yr down the line...
Is the mission speaker deal too good to be left alone right now?
