ok so everything was working fine last night when i watched a movie and this morning i turn on my pc receiver and sub and try to watch a movie and the music soundtrack is fine but all sound effects and dialog are almost impossible to hear so i close the movie and try to start it up again same thing i thought it was the movie file so i try a game and same thing. then i try pandora and the mids and highs are coming in and out really weird.
so then i plug my phone into my receiver to see if its the receiver and it seems off on the mids and highs then i switch back to the pc sound coming from my GPU and everything is fine again :/ anyone have a clue what happened or what could be causing it and then fix itself? i did not mess with any of the wires or connections and i know they are all tight.

GPU is HD radeon 6950
receiver is Denon AVR-1712
