I just bought a new Samsung 46" 3D LED HDTV with active shutter glasses. When I go onto YouTube to look at some half-SBS clips, I set the TV to side by side mode, and the image looks wrong, like I have double vision. There is ghosting when the image is paused or playing, so I might see a person, and then the ghost image of that person to the left of them. On the far left side, there is a straight line intersecting the image. If I move off-center, the image gets worse. It's like the image isn't blending together properly.
The 3D image is flawless when I fire up the Samsung app on the TV and watch a 3D trailer.
I'm playing these clips on my PC, which is connected to the TV. The PC has a Radeon 5450 video card, which connects to the TV through an HDMI cable. The resolution is set to 1080p.
How do I get the TV to properly display half-SBS?
