Since there was no official thread for this receiver I thought I would start one. Just finished setting the 3010 with some Paradigm speakers Center 3, Monitor 9s, Surround 1 + 3, and DSP3200....

All I have to say is that this is one nice receiver, with all the features that it has, I just have to say wow. The box I received was banged up a little, but the receiver looked pristine when I received it. I did the software update right away, and it took no problem. The unit said it would take an hour to do the update. I've sent music from PC to the receiver, but for some reason it won't do video, not sure if I missed something somewhere.

I recently upgraded from a Denon 3805, since I did not compare them side by side I really can't say much, except there are a lot of newer features and I like them. My wifes reaction when we watched a TV show, she thought it was weird, as she heard stuff behind here and couldn't figure what it was. She was like; "did you hear that". Never had dipole speakers and they are quite enveloping.
