Optoma HD33 vs. Epson 3020

Thread Starter
I was about to pull the trigger this week for a HD33, but have been waiting to see if a price drop might be coming for black Friday. Anyway, then I noticed the recent reviews for the Epson 3020. I should note I tend to like DLP's and I do not see rainbows. In fact I'm upgrading from an old Nec LT150. To make a long story short, has anyone see both and willing to render an option. It will be used in a fairly well light controlled media room. Considering that the Epson includes glasses the price is about the same.

I am looking at both of those projectors as well. Have you purchased yet? What route did you decide to go?

It appears he went with a HC4000 according to this thread. http://www.avsforum.com/t/1331261/official-mitsubishi-hc4000-only-thread/2670#post_22665333
A pretty good thread on the HD and last years model 3010, which is very similar, but a tad brighter with a little less lag. http://www.avsforum.com/t/1369628/epson-3010-vs-optoma-hd33-a-users-perspective
