Sharp LC-70LE600U low quality

Picked up a sharp LC-70LE600U led the other day and have a few questions. Is this display different then the smart version of this tv? I am asking because the image quality I am getting from blu Ray and hd direct tv is less then what I was getting out of my 50" Panasonic plasma. Is there something I am missing in a hidden service menu or something for settings. Please let me know if have 30 days to return to hhgregg. Thanks all for the help.

Cant comment on the 600u but recently purchased the 60" 640u for the wife in the master bedroom and liked it enough to go and buy the 70" 640u for the living room. Read thru some of the last several pages of the below Official thread for the 640u model and you will see some settings that may work on your 600u display to your liking:

Do you notice that the quality from sources other then 1080p are less quality since the screen is so big or maybe the version I bought is a less quality screen? I know that the options as far as all those pictures settings you are saying you have are not available on my set.... Looks like I might be going back and trading it in

If your unhappy i would without hesitation either trade up or get your money back within your return window timeframe.
