Epson 3020 Question

Hello!

I am about to purchase a Epson 3020. This will be my first projector. I have a question about this projector and was hoping someone could answer.

I know that the 3020 has no lens shift, but how bad would it be if I had to set up the projecter not directly in front of my screen but off to the left like 2 feet? My throw distance is about 11' to a 106" screen.

Would I have to use keystone correction for this and if so how bad would that impair the quality?

Thanks for any help!

Keystone is different from lens shift. You will not be able to compensate the 2feet

He will be able to compensate with keystone but will have to turn the projector towards the wall and than keystone it straight. but likely to sacrifice HD contant for the adjustment.

Thanks for the replies!

How much quality will I lose using the keystone on the 3020?

I guess I could get the 5020 but I would basically be paying an extra $1000 for lens shift.
