Hello everyone!
Just received a CLD-97 from ebay and it arrived dead due to the poor packaging. While it powers on, the tray would not eject and there is no any buzz from the motor whatsoever. The display says "open" when I press the eject button but that is it. The tray door does not respond at all.
I removed the cover and I could see that there indeed was no movement either of the tray or the spindle when I press eject button. When I switched off power, there was a slight "recoil" of the spindle, about 1/4 of full turn, so I suppose the motor is not totally dead. The tray itself sits very hard, it would not move at all when I press it.
I found the discussion of a similar cases related to CLD-704 here in this forum, but I am wondering if anyone have had experience with a CLD-97, since the mechanics is different.
Thank you,
Anton
