Audyssey and boomy sub

I ran Audyssey and my sub sounds boomy with movies or tv with high spls. I noticed that the boomines went away when I disengaged the dynamic eq and dynamic volume. Has anyone had this problem?

Which amp are you running, I have an onkyo with Audyssey XT32 and it has really sorted my sub I was getting some boom before with my SVS 20-39 PC+ but no more.smile.gif

I have an avr with only multeq. I can watch movies that really have no lfe with dynamic on or even with dynamic eq and dynamic volume on at the same time but I cannot watch movies with lfe having dynamic eq on because its overwhelming to the ears and I don't listen at reference levels.
