I didn't find the RTI bookshelves I mentioned in your other thread to be bright, but then again I'm a Klipsch fan, so what do I know.

I wouldn't draw any conclusions about these based on a car audio system, even from the same manufacturer. Your best bet would be to listen to them for yourself before buying if you can. Also. your receiver has a speaker calibration system that will smooth out frequency response anomalies if they exist.

Bottom line you may like them or not, you won't know until you hear them. Based on my experience I think it's unlikely you'd find them objectionable.

You're comparing tower speakers to little satellites. There's going to be a HUGE difference between to the two. Get the Polks.

I got a pair of Infinity P363s not long ago from Frys but I'm thinking of exchanging them for the RTi8s. Not sure if the sound difference would be worth the hassle though to be honest...

Take some music with you and listen in the store. They usually have both the P363 and Rti8 in the same room.
