Is there a bluray player that lets you skip all the garbage at the beginning?

I'm currently using a PS3, which satisfies the majority of my needs. But I'd pay an embarrassing amount of money if there was a player where I can put a disc in, and it goes straight to playing the movie, or at least the menu.

Does such a magical device exist? Or am I forever to be annoyed by these crimes against humanity?

Nope. Controlled by the Movie Studios. Some studios won't even let you chapter skip through previews. You must use FF. Disney will let you hit Top Menu to bypass previews. Some studios do sell movie only editions, but their aren't too many of those.
