Samsung 64d8000?

Is 1989.99 free shipping,no tax, a good deal for this set? I know it's a 2011 model, but it seems a good deal. it's either this or the newer Panasonic 65st50 for about 200 more

which is better?

Not sure if you bought this yet, but the 64D8000 is $1099.86 on clearance at best buy... may want to give a look around there. Chances are if they do have it, it'll be in the back and not on display so be sure to ask somebody.
