Larry Hagman has died. Very sad.

I was a huge fan of the original 'Dallas', which is one of the reasons why I had no interest in the current re-make (been there, done that....). But it was somehow comforting to know the original J.R. Ewing was in it, still alive and kicking. Loved his early TV work in "Jeannie" and in movies like 1976's The Eagle has Landed, one of my all-time favorite war movies. RIP Larry. frown.gif

I saw him in a couple of other things recently. He's in the thumbnails in these reviews:

He was pretty funny & weird in real life. He had been told that actress Lauren Bacall did not like being touched, so the first time he met her he licked her arm. Would have loved to have seen that reaction.

I liked his role as the "not so bright" Colonel in "The eagle has landed".
