Recommendations for HDMI-to-CAT6 extender? (HDMI 1.4/3D)

Does anybody have any recommendations for a HDMI-to-CAT6 extender? I don't need it to extend very far (perhaps 50 feet / 15 meters) but I do need HDMI 1.4 and 3D support (i.e. "Full 3D HD").

Can anybody give me any recommendations? I don't care if I need one or two CAT6 wires either...

Thanks!

What's the difference between that one and the $50 ones? $200 is a bit pricey...

It works reliably because of the technology it incorporates. Less expensive ones are a crap shoot.

this...

i didn't want to screw around and "hope"...

not that others haven't had success with the other ones... but my tolerance for flakiness is very low, and i wanted to eliminate as many possibilities for flakiness as possible...

monoprice is very good for returns though, so you could try one of the cheaper ones and if it doesn't work out for you, return it... worth a shot...

You don’t need ‘HDMI 1.4’ – you need support for any features which are relevant to your Source and Sink.

HDMI version numbers are not relevant when shopping for extenders - http://www.hdmi.org/consumer/buying_guide.aspx

Ensure the Extender you are looking at will work with short CAT cables – many of the budget units have a fixed EQ and can be troublesome if you go under the minimum suggested cable length.

I've been looking for the same thing. $200 is a little hard for me to swallow as well. The cheaper Monoprice ones don't mention 3D support so are we to assume that they don't support 3D?

Extenders generally don't know or care whether you are sending 2D or 3D. All that is important is the bit rate. If it will handle 1080p60 2D, it will handle 1080p24 3D from a BD player because the bit rate is lower. If you need 1080p60 3D, deep color, etc., you will have to figure out whether the device you are considering will handle the bit rate.
