MRF-260 and RFS-200 in same house....

I'm about tot pull the trigger on a URC-780 with the MRF-260 base station. I already have an older R20 with a RFS-200 RF base station upstairs in the bedroom and the mrf-260 will be in the family room.

Is there any way to avoid cross talk between the two? Ie, won't the RFS-200 upstairs pick up the signals from the mx780 in the family room (I have the same cable box and bluray players in both rooms)?

Right, the only way to prevent the mx-780 from communicating with mrf100 upstairs is setting the devices on the mx-780 to IR only. Replace the rfs200 with used mx-350 and another mrf260 upstairs, the mx-350 can be set to addressable basestations like the mrf260.

So I can use a 350 with the rf20 and the 260 with the mx780 in the same house?

An mx-350 is a remote just like the RF20, same button arrangement, just that its more advanced in it is remote addressable. Meaning you will have to abondon the RF20 altogether along with its mrf100 basestation.

Ah, misunderstood, trout you meant the mrf-350 base station. May just use my mx-500 upstairs with a IR repeater system in that case.
