Hi
when I crank it up beyond reasonable (once in a while:p), if the music has sharp bass chords or bass drum, I hear a definite thump coming from the floor (I think)
Also, some very low frequency synthetizer notes will literrally shake the whole house down
I beleive the speakers or sub or both are litterally banging the floor.
When I purchased those speakers, they came with heavy duty rug spikes one could install (if room had rug, mine didn't), so I didn't install those
Speakers are all direct on a hardwood floor, And the metal mounting plates under the speakers (for rug spikes) are whats touching the wood floor first
Is there something I should put between the speaker & the floor to dampen the thumping.
I was thinking rubber foam, or even hard rubber mats, but maybe there are other ideas out there
I also saw in the speakers instruction sheets I have a place at the bottom where I could pour sand
Hesitant to go that way as they already weigh a ton
