difference in quality between Anti Glare Vs Non Anti Glare?

I've basically tracked down a panasonic 2011 60" S34(Same thing as the S30, but it seems to be a 'costco' exclusive with an added in anti glare filtre) in my area. I want the S30 because it can do 16ms/1 frame of lag when gaming, which NONE of the 2012 panasonics can do plus they have lousy scaling for 480p and 720p content.
SO, question is does the Anti glare filtre degrade the PQ in any way? I want the crispest/clearest image possible when gaming, and it would annoy me knowing that this anti glare filtre is producing an image that looks softer, less bright and less colorful in comparison to the anti glare filtre free 'S30'

well, I owned this years Panasonic 42" X5 anti glare filtre free plasma and i've been playing around with my friends Panasonic 50" 2010 G25 which has an anti glare filtre in it and the color and brightness seems to be just as great as my x5 i'm guesing, with same settings in game mode.i'm guessing. a side by side comparison would be nice but that obviously isn't happening. XP crispness/clearness wise i'm not too sure regarding '480p' content in the Wii's case. i tend to raise the sharpness to get a desired effect. i guess it 'would' bug me if the 'S30's anti glare free picture produced a sharper/clearer image over the S34's.
