Hi all Im looking to slowly upgrade my home theater system. The room size is 27x15, when we purchased the house the previous owner left his setup behind which included an Onkyo HT-R667 HIB, Im going to start by replacing the speakers, just not sure what to get, so far I have ordered a sub, its an American BIC F12. Not sure if this is the best place to start but its on its way. Eventually I'd like to replace everything but for now gotta start with the speakers. Next will be the Lt, Rt, and center speakers any recommendations? Budget is $450 no including the already purchased sub.

After looking around came across this:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Klipsch+-+Quintet+5.0-Channel+Home+Theater+System/5888124.p?id=1218703207213&skuId=5888124#

Any thoughts would these speakers plus the BIC F12 sub be a noticeable improvement from my current system, the Onkyo HT-S6100 HTIB?

Thanks in advance

I would aim for larger speakers, in that room.

What if the seating distance is appx 16ft from the screen, does that make a difference?
