Question about cloud saves

Thread Starter
I have 2 PS3s and I would like to save a game on the office PS3 and resume playing on the living room PS3. I am new to PS+. When I start a game now I get asked if i would like to save the game to the cloud. When I answer yes I get told the automatic updates will be turned on. So far so good I think. When I then go to the other PS3 to play a game it asked about the cloud saves but then it tells me that I already have a PS3 using auto updates and only one PS3 can do it per account.

Can I share a game save file between my PS3s? Each PS3 has its own user ID but share the same Playstation account.

You can download from the cloud only once per 24 hours. Try it on the other system then.

Your joking right. I have to wait 24 hours just to download one file at a time. It will take me over a month just to download some of my saves. You are better off copying them to a flash drive and as for the lock saves just try to avoid buying games that use them.

No, I mean that any file saved to the cloud can be downloaded once per 24 hours. For instance, when I upgraded my PS3 phat to a Super Slim a short time ago, I had dozens and dozens of saves stored on the cloud. When I fired up my account on the new machine, I easily dloaded everything at once. That process can only be done once a day.

I'm sure it is to prevent people from getting around strict save restrictions for games like Dark Souls where a person might try to "illegally" keep reloading a certain save point after getting killed.

I see that makes sense. I don't think anyone would pay for PS+ is it only let you save on cloud save per day. I still think it is a stupid point as I can save and download as much as I want on the other cloud services for the computer but like you said it is because of certain games that abuse it.

Not all games have that requirement. I think it applies to games with locked saves like Dark Souls and Killzone 3.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification.
