I calibrated with Disney WoW and the set looks great. Pretty sure it is the same panel as the ES6100 because all of the calibrated numbers look the same. Maybe there is a way to confirm?

Regardless I'd head over to the ES6100 thread if you're looking for calibration settings as well.

So I calibrated mine with the C3 Meter with CalMAN 5 and the white balance was waaaay off out of the box with Movie and Warm2, mostly at the high end. They're right samsung puts way too much into green by default. This is using the CalMan Get Gray disc. I am by no means a professional, and I understand this is a cheap meter, but the results look much better to me. I really found the defaults so off-putting that I bought the software and meter.

Here was default white balance for Movie, Warm 2 on my PS3

So I adjusting the white balance to the following and got a much better graph

R-Offset 22
G-Offset 22
B-Offset 22
R-Gain 32
G-Gain 17
B-Gain 45

I release this conflicts with the OP, so your mileage may vary.

Also in case anyone wants to use PC input (I use this for gaming), here is what worked for me. HDMI1 Renamed PC Input, Standard, Warm 2

Gamma +1
R-Offset 26
G-Offset 27
B-Offset 29
R-Gain 25
G-Gain 11
B-Gain 42

My father just recently bought  a 55 inch, and I'm trying to help him set it up. The biggest problem we have is that it keeps cutting off the top and the bottom of the pictures. We keep changing it around, but nothing seems to help. We're using an HDMI cable that a friend gave us, from an Infinity cable box. Oddly enough, when we switch on the Roku, the problem seems to go away.

So any ideas on a possible solution?
