I haven't heard the Dennon 2112, but I own the HK AVR 3600 and have been very happy with it.

Excellent service...I purchased a Denon A100 A/V reciever, 2 Klipsch Mode40 headphones, Klipsch G-17 air and 2 pair of Klipsch Image X10i in ear headphones...everything went smoothly
