Baffled for the millionth time about 3D. Please help

I am trying to watch Titanic on my new 3D setup with PowerDVD. What am I supposed to set the source media to?

Do I have to set anything in the Nvidia control panel if I'm not using 3D vision?

I don't understand why this is so damn difficult. No wonder 3D hasn't been mainstream

I saw that no one has replied so I'm kind of bumping your thread a little.

I have PowerDVD 10 but I have just gotten a 3D capable projector. I'm waiting for my 3D glasses to arrive so I have not experimented with it yet.

I had a hell of a time setting mine up too. I use TMT5... there was a tab that I missed which was discribing my display. As soon as I chose HDMI 1.4 3D capable display... Voila!! My projector automatically changes to display 3D. It took me like 8 hours of head scratching... Turns out it was a tab I forgot to setup in the software. I was about to order a new HDMI cable (mine is an old 35ft 1.3 cable running through the attic).

Ya, I gave up. Using tmt. PowerDVD won't work with me. I have to say, 3D is cool as hell.

TMT works perfectly and there are not many settings to dink with.

Made the grave mistake and bought "i,robot“ no 3D depth at all.

Other than that, it's amazing
