hometheater for master bedroom

Hi im redoing im master bedroom, i installing a 108 inch 16:9 screen, so want to get a good home theater for the bedroom mostly for movies, maybe some music. size is 24 X 19. i have one of the sides fully with windows so, cant put surround on the side wall, so the back wall its available and also cealing. Im thinking on 5.1 or 7.1 . Budget is around $4500 top. for speaker and SUB. i have around 3600 cubic feet. Fronts can be either tower, onwall, or inwall( a little more trouble because i have masonry walls). Tks for the advice.

You have so many options at this price point, I would say find a local audio shop and listen to some speakers to get an idea of what you like.

Look at the likes of Atlantic Technology, PSB, Focal, Monitor Audio, Ascend,
and You may even like Klipsch. Check them out.

For subs, check ID brand companies like HSU, Outlaw, SVS and some others,
like Power Sound Audio

there isnt a local hifi shop. Any recomendation on onwalls? that way i dont need to destroy my wall

Take a look at the Internet direct brands that let you audition them at home. Ascend comes to mind, specifically the Sierra-1 towers, beautiful cabinets and the owners thread is full of nothing but praise.

Fronts James Loudspeaker QX830
Surround QxC 820( incealing)
Surround Back Qx820

Everything from james loudspeaker, then for subwoofer
2 EMB 12....

Any recomendations? i havent find lots of info on this brand on forums online..
Also subwoofers seem quite expensive, any other options, tks in advance

Do you have already the receiver?.... For Sub; start with this and don't look any further: SVS PB12-NSD; if you prefer Sealed then SVS SB12-NSD; bit cheaper. Free Shipping to USA. As for speakers I recommend On wall speakers or Floor standing speakers. The Monitor Audio that was recommended for you is the excellent; but no price available; they send you a quote. Even that your room is quite big; you wont need 2 subs. Just have to find out the sweet spot by doing the "crawling sub".

Many; many speakers are around. And believe it not I have a dedicated HT room; measures 17' x17' x 9' and I using at this moment Polk RTi4 as front speakers (On wall) with my DIY 15"sub and the sound is AMAZING!. I also have a Polks RTIa7's at living room and will move it soon to my new HT Room as soon as I install the carpet. I compare both areas and honesty on the HT Room the sound quality is "much better". Of course I can notice the difference between RTia7s and RTi4; RTia7 sounds better; but my sub at HT Rooms gives a new life!...

Depending if you have a receiver or not then we can help you in the search of your speakers.....

Hi I'll get I'm thinking in getting Denon 4520 or pioneer sc68 if need more power I have one 5 Chanel parasound amp that I can take out of my den

Ok, why don't you find a dealer and go listen to them. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world to own James. Lol

The QX is the new line. Mine don't have the quad tweeter. I won't respond anymore if it has affended you. smile.gif

Look at Triad, Atlantic Tech or Paradigm they make ok inwalls I just think James is better. IMO...

Hi I have been offering a deal on the monitor aiudio gx200 I really wanted the 300 but they don't have it in stock .on the subwoofer department what should I get and how many is have around 3500 c f
