I'm replacing my old Sony STR DG-800. Mainly because the HDMI ports no longer work. Currently I only have a pair of Martin Logan Motion 10s. I've been looking at the Harman Kardon AVR 1700, the lowest end Pioneer Elite (VSX-42, I think) and a slim line Marantz. Would these be sufficient to power the Logans? Also open to suggestions. I've got a $500 budget, but would prefer to keep it under $400.
