An odd duck, actually, as the standard LAB 12 is six ohms. I'm surprised they brought this out.

Squeeze out some extra sensitivity to compete with newer bass designs maybe?

It's only a 2dB difference, and that's only of value if your amp is too small to drive the 6 ohm to full output.

I have a standard 6Ohm lab in a small sealed box for the garage. 1.2cu ft sealed powered by a bash300.

I'm not very good with winISD but this C driver models less?

If you let WinISD calculate the default cab size the 4 ohm gives a smaller box size than the 6 ohm, but with a higher F3, so you're not really gaining anything.

Thanks Bill that's kinda what I was seeing, and no real gain. Strange indeed this driver is biggrin.gif
