Just bought Insignia NS-50L260A13

Any thoughts on how to calibrate this thing? I have the DVE Calibration disc, but its been a few years since i've used it....and i can't figure the damn thing out anymore...If it makes any difference, i'm using an oldschool Samsung BD-P2550 with the DVE Disk

Is it worth Calibrating a 'cheaper' TV like this, or should i just assume, this is the best picture i can get?

Anyone know if the video settings for this TV would be different from HDMI vs Component....When i try to figure out the DVE disk with HDMI it looks like the black levels are clipping, i can't see the 2% or the below black....But with Component it doesn't seem to clip
