Standby Sync / Yamaha RX-V773

Hi,

i use my iPad as a universal remote trough DLNA to turn on my receiver and then receiver turns on my TV (Sony EX-720) trough HDMI CEC (Bravia Sync). My TV supports automatic turn on and off by HDMI CEC but not by DLNA so it's have to be done by receiver but now it starting to look that Yamaha sends standby command only to HDMI IN not to HDMI OUT where's my TV is connected.

Is there any workaround to get this work without IR Blaster?

I don't understand what the problem is--the last part doesn't make sense. How does the Yamaha turn the TV on if it doesn't send signals through the HDMI OUT?

I meant with standby the power off signal. Power on signal gets to TV by HDMI OUT.

I don't believe the Yamaha receiver will ever broadcast the HDMI CEC System Standby message. It won't however stop a standby message from being broadcast up or down the CEC network.

System Standby messages are normally only broadcast by the TV.

Yeah. Figured out that too. My TV doesn't support power off trough hdmi it was just a translation error because propertys name was in finnish like "automatic device shutdown" and i thought it was referring to a TV but when i changed TV's language to english i saw that it was "devices".
