I'm in the market for some bookshelf type speakers to serve as the front mains for a started home theater/audio setup. I'm thinking I'll get the bookshelf speakers and a receiver. Later I'll slowly add a center, sub, and rears for a 5.1 system (probably in that order). I'm looking to spend $100-200 on the pair of bookshelf speakers and I'm really interested to see how the OS compares the similarly priced options from the mainstream market. The OS would be my first speaker project so it will require some investment in tools. What do you experts think would be the best route for a beginner starting a home theater?
