Samsung PN60E7000: is $1630 a good price for this TV?

HI all,
I am new here, and would like to ask a question.
I've always wanted a Panasonic 60" + 3d Plasma TV, but see the deal today for Samsung PN60E7000 with $1630 shipped.
Should i bite the bullet and get this set or wait for the ST50/GT50?
Thanks all
hskb

Depends on a lot of things. Condition- New, Used, Refurbished, etc. Seller- authorized dealer or not, return policy, etc.

it's a new one from authorized dealer TigerDirect.

Take a look in the deals section of this forum, as price talk really should be going on in this part ;-) you should find people posting prices they have found and if they are good deals people will say...

Looks like a better deal than I see on their site right now, I see 370 higher. Also there's this return policy:
Only defective exchanges for identical item within 30 days of purchase permitted on this product. After 30 days, please contact the manufacturer at: 18007267864.Only defective exchanges for identical item within 30 days of purchase permitted on this product.

The shipping is free but what exact terms I didn't see...

Its actually 1547 at tigerdirect with the coupon code found at dealsofamerica.com. You have to pay 79 for shipping as they don't FS if its overweight... I bought this tv at bestbuy originally for 1999.00 and was able to do PM from tigerdirect. So atleast for me it was a great deal. I saved like $450 bux!

Coupon doesn't work for me

Looks like the coupon code doesn't work anymore. You can try calling them to see if they can apply it for you it might be a website problem.. I've done that in the past. I actually still have the TV in my cart and still have the deal to purchase it at 1547.00.

One of the lowest prices I've seen. FWIW my FIL ordered a TV from there on last Friday and received it on Tuesday so they are fast

I got lucky to do the price match at bestbuy. I called them on the phone and they weren't going to do it. So I packed up my TV and said what the hell I'll return it and just rebuy at Tigerdirect. And then I just presented bestbuy with a printout of how much I'll get it from tigerdirect. And after maybe 10 minutes they did the PM. The part that was annoying was having to take the tv back and forth. Really hope I didn't screw anything up. I did handle it like a baby as much as I could.. But putting that stand on is a pain. I wish you could just do it right from the box.

They pricematched even though the coupon is dead?

the coupon was still alive when I did it. But the bestbuy I went to didn't even check that. I just showed them a screenshot with the $450 off. He went to the TD site and asked me about the discount and I said you need a coupon code. And he just said ok and did the PM without even entering it. Of course YMMV..
