I don't know about the sound, but UV codes from DVDs are usually Standard Definition and UV codes from Blu-Rays are usually High Definition.

I tried my transformers dark side ultraviolet last night on my 133 inch JVC rs46 projector and the quality was not the same as the bluray disk. Direct Internet connection
