Onkyo 5010 or Onkyo 3010?

Hello,

I have a home theatre room which measures 16 X 26.The ceiling is 10ft high, but slants down to 8ft, 4ft from the right wall. I have 3 rows of seating with risers supporting the back two rows.The front row is 12ft from the screen, and the rear row is 23ft. Already installed is a Epson 5010, with a Carada 142" screen. I chose the BIC America Platinum speakers. 2 PL-89's for the front left and right, PL-28 for the center channel, and Pl-66's for the sides, rear and the heights. I also have 2 PL-200 subs! one for the front, and one for the rear of the room. Not sure if the room would support wides, so I'm holding off on a external AMP and another set of PL-66's. 2D and 3D movies are what I use the theatre for most often. I also watch alot of football and have NBA league pass. With money not a issue, will I hear actually hear better sound quality with the 5010 over the 3010? Or should I save the price difference, buy a Oppo 103 and a 3010 and go with that setup? Thanks for any input.

I was thinking the same thing, but now I'm curious about the 2013 5xxx and 3xxx the will debut in a few months. I will wait until they annou e specs and make the call from there.
