samsung hl-s5687w changed bulb and now unit won't start up

i got white dots spreading across screen and found out i needed to change dlp chip before i got the chip, the set shut down and lights on front indicated bulb needed replacing, so i changed it and the dlp chip and now set won't come on and still get the blinking lights indicating bad bulb. any ideas?
